Founded in 2004 by friends Ronnie Hun and Desmond Quek, D-Ron originally started as an IT solutions provider. Quek left the company shortly after and Ronnie continued to develop and evolve the business.
In 2008, D-Ron secured contracts from local Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to deploy ADSL internet and, subsequently fibre Internet.
Leveraging its expertise in IT implementation, D-Ron became one of the first companies in Singapore to invest in IP-based CCTV products and solutions, led by Sales & Marketing Director, Ivan Tan.
